Yesterday, the Managing Attorney of Apex Chambers (Legal Practitioners in Nigeria), Dr. P. N. Egbule, Esq., MCIArb (UK), had the pleasure of receiving a delegation from the Council of African Youth, a Pan-African Youth Network with membership drawn from the 54 African Countries, inaugurated in 2004 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and with headquarters at San Antonio, Cape Verde.
The delegation was led by its President, Amb. Herman Mbasela (Cameroon) and included the Vice-President, West Africa, Amb. Nochiso Toure (Ghana); Nigerian Co-ordinator, Amb. Paul Matthew and Director of Media, Anderson Tochukwu and Engr. Paul Momoh (Nigeria).
They briefed him on the laudable programmes of the Council across East, North, Central, West and Southern Africa, including the Education Cannot Wait (for children in IDP Camps), Africa For Africa Project, the Stay Back in Africa Project and a host of others.
The Managing Attorney of Apex Chambers was honoured with the Kwame Nkrumah Leadership Prize For Excellence. I thanked the Council for the recognition and pledged to partner with it for a better Africa.
