There’s one more mistake property owners make in tenancy relationships.
I’ve mentioned some of them before now.
Allowing the seeming sincerity of a tenant influence him against getting the tenancy or lease agreement signed or letting some other factors make him delay the signing. If this happens before possession of the property is given to the occupant, just know that you have made a terrible mistake.
The thing is, most of the issues that arise and the mistakes made before involving a Lawyer are indeed preventable. Bear in mind that there are certain thorny legal issues that a Lawyer can hardly sort out.
Not because the Lawyer is incompetent, but because it has gone beyond legal repair. In that case the property owner can’t get out of it without getting his or her fingers burnt.
Sign all the relevant columns of that lease or tenancy agreement before you hand over your keys. My experience has taught me that that’s the best thing to do. Protect your property interest.
I’m rooting for you.
